Background in drafting, CAD, construction, or framing highly preferred
Detail-oriented with strong mathematical and analytical skills, comfortable working with blueprints and calculating loads
Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills and passion for delivering exceptional customer service
Willingness to learn and grow within a supportive, collaborative team

Responsibilities

Design roof trusses, floor trusses, wall panels, and engineered wood products (EWP) for residential and commercial projects
Use MiTek software to prepare bids, layouts, and engineered profiles
Collaborate with experienced professionals to meet customer needs and provide design solutions
Participate in paid comprehensive training in Burlington, North Carolina (4-6 weeks, January 2026)
Build relationships with retail clients, builders, framers, and developers to answer design questions and deliver top-tier service
