Requirements

Degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum
Experienced in engine installation and/or hydraulic installation (or a related design field) with a background in construction, mining, or agricultural equipment
Skilled across multiple engineering functions; Creo experience is a plus
Experienced in planning, estimating, and managing projects, including identifying risks, developing contingency plans, maintaining clear communication with stakeholders, conducting regular reviews, and implementing effective control mechanisms
Experienced in documenting and modeling functional requirements, proficient in using advanced tools for prototyping, ensuring traceability, leading quality reviews, and guiding teams through thorough requirements analysis
Capable of resolving high-impact equipment and system issues using advanced diagnostics, evaluating business impact, monitoring performance trends, and mentoring others in complex, multi-vendor environments

Responsibilities

Design and integrate cutting-edge engine and cooling systems, including integrating engines and engine mounted components, locating and sizing cooling cores, and designing the network of hoses, tubes, and sheet metal
Lead innovation in engine installation and cooling system design for mining and construction equipment (Large Wheel Loader and Wheel Tractor Scraper product lines)
Collaborate across the value chain to drive New Product Introduction, Continuous Product Improvement, and Cost Reduction
Shape the future by improving tools, processes, and design standards across the enterprise
