Requirements
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (3+ years)
- Knowledge of other SQL dialects (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) is a plus
- Automation skills: Python (Pandas, SQL Alchemy, etc.), Excel/VBA, R (R Studio)
- Understanding of ETL principles and working with large volumes of data
- Advanced Excel proficiency (Power Query, Power Pivot preferred)
- Ability to analyze data and find ways to improve process efficiency
- Good communication skills, ability to work independently and in a team
- Proficiency in Russian
- English proficiency sufficient for working with documentation and communicating with international teams
- Ability to commute daily to the office during training: Almaty, Baizakova Street, 280, Almaty Towers Business Center (hybrid format possible after training)
Responsibilities
- Development, maintenance, and optimization of databases on Microsoft SQL Server
- Creation, debugging, and optimization of complex SQL queries, procedures, functions, and views
- Automation of data processing processes (SQL, Python, Excel/VBA macros, R)
- Ensuring data quality and integrity, implementing control mechanisms
- Support of existing ETL processes, participation in developing new data integration solutions
- Diagnosis and elimination of recurring errors in data structures and workflows
- Documentation of solutions, support for colleagues, and training of new employees on data work
- Interaction with other departments to optimize data exchange and usage
