Requirements

Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (3+ years)
Knowledge of other SQL dialects (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) is a plus
Automation skills: Python (Pandas, SQL Alchemy, etc.), Excel/VBA, R (R Studio)
Understanding of ETL principles and working with large volumes of data
Advanced Excel proficiency (Power Query, Power Pivot preferred)
Ability to analyze data and find ways to improve process efficiency
Good communication skills, ability to work independently and in a team
Proficiency in Russian
English proficiency sufficient for working with documentation and communicating with international teams
Ability to commute daily to the office during training: Almaty, Baizakova Street, 280, Almaty Towers Business Center (hybrid format possible after training)

Responsibilities

Development, maintenance, and optimization of databases on Microsoft SQL Server
Creation, debugging, and optimization of complex SQL queries, procedures, functions, and views
Automation of data processing processes (SQL, Python, Excel/VBA macros, R)
Ensuring data quality and integrity, implementing control mechanisms
Support of existing ETL processes, participation in developing new data integration solutions
Diagnosis and elimination of recurring errors in data structures and workflows
Documentation of solutions, support for colleagues, and training of new employees on data work
Interaction with other departments to optimize data exchange and usage
