Requirements

Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Students who will graduate in 2026 or beyond and will be able to commit to either a full time internship or a 3 day part-time internship
Ideal if you are able to onboard in November 2025 otherwise it will be for 2026 January intake
Proficiency in SQL and Python (knowledge of C/C++/Go is a plus)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
Strong sense of ownership, customer-oriented mindset, and integrity
Fast learner and effective team player with excellent communication skills
Prior internship or work experience in the tech or internet industry is preferred
Fluency in English and Mandarin to collaborate effectively with international teams and HQ stakeholders

Responsibilities

Analyze large datasets to identify business opportunities and optimize product performance
Develop data dashboards and visualization tools to track key performance metrics and provide actionable product insights
Assist in building scalable data pipelines to support WeChat’s operational needs and enhance platform security
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate analytical findings into business strategies
