Requirements

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Students who will graduate in 2026 or beyond and will be able to commit to either a full time internship or a 3 day part-time internship
  • Ideal if you are able to onboard in November 2025 otherwise it will be for 2026 January intake
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python (knowledge of C/C++/Go is a plus)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Strong sense of ownership, customer-oriented mindset, and integrity
  • Fast learner and effective team player with excellent communication skills
  • Prior internship or work experience in the tech or internet industry is preferred
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin to collaborate effectively with international teams and HQ stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Analyze large datasets to identify business opportunities and optimize product performance
  • Develop data dashboards and visualization tools to track key performance metrics and provide actionable product insights
  • Assist in building scalable data pipelines to support WeChat’s operational needs and enhance platform security
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate analytical findings into business strategies
