Requirements

  • Solid experience in a data science role, ideally with a focus on marketing analytics
  • Ability to deeply understand business challenges and independently identify the right data, analysis, or interpretations for recommendations and decisions
  • Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries to analyze databases with over 300 million players and work with cloud-based relational database systems
  • Experience using tools such as R, Python (and Excel) for analytical purposes
  • Knowledge of when and how to apply appropriate statistical or machine learning techniques
  • Bonus: Proven experience in building marketing mix models and conducting geo experiments
  • Ability to design effective ways to communicate, visualize, or report analysis and results clearly
  • Passion for quantitative analysis, quick learning, ability to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment, and effective communication with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

  • Identifying potential business opportunities and designing strategies to capture them
  • Applying statistical analysis and predictive modelling to uncover actionable insights related to user acquisition, engagement, and retention
  • Supporting the Consumer Marketing team by developing models and analytical data products to optimize user acquisition and retention strategies
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams (media buyers, strategy, product, business analytics) to drive marketing strategy
  • Translating business needs into technical requirements and A/B tests, working with development teams for implementation and tracking data for impact analysis
  • Checking, debugging, and resolving issues to deliver precise and clear analysis and reports swiftly, even with complex data challenges
