Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field; a Master’s or PhD is preferred. They should have a minimum of three years of hands-on data science experience and at least three years of experience deriving key insights and KPIs for external and internal customers. Regular development experience in Python and prior hands-on experience working with data-driven analytics are also required. US citizenship is mandatory.

Responsibilities

The Data Scientist will design experiments, test hypotheses, and build models for advanced data analysis and complex algorithms. They will apply advanced statistical and predictive modeling techniques to build, maintain, and improve multiple real-time decision systems. The role involves making strategic recommendations on data collection, integration, and retention requirements, incorporating business requirements and data industry best practices. They will model and frame business scenarios, transform and standardize datasets, and integrate them for client use cases. Furthermore, the Data Scientist will convert custom data analysis tasks into repeatable processes, optimize processes for speed and accuracy, and partner with business analysts and client teams to develop data-driven solutions. They will participate in end-to-end software development within an agile team and collaborate with various engineering teams.
