Position Summary

As a Data Science Contractor, you will contribute to building and deploying state-of-the-art machine learning systems to drive impact via data capabilities. This role will focus on formulating detailed machine learning projects, conducting extensive experimentation, and transforming ML models into robust, production-level code.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with machine learning engineers and analysts to use and train state-of-the-art ML models for assigned product use cases.
• Understand key metrics for model evaluations.
• Perform in-depth data analysis to uncover insights and share them with partners.
• Help ensure improvements in current ML systems via model, data, or experimentation upgrades.
• Gain hands-on experience with technologies including PyTorch, AWS, Kafka, Data Bricks, etc.

What We’re Looking For

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Demonstrated interest in machine learning systems and eagerness to create impact via state-of-the-art data capabilities.
• Strong understanding of statistical models and familiarity with machine learning and deep learning algorithms (clustering, classification).
• Proficient in at least one programming language and familiar with basic data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with big data and familiarity with distributed computation frameworks (Hadoop, Spark, Hive) is desired but not mandatory.
