Job Description: Quality Assurance Specialist (Metadata)

Position Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to execute and administer our quality assurance system for processed metadata. This role is crucial in maintaining conformity related to the reporting of music usage metadata for Networks, Producers, Performing Rights, and other Music Copyright Organizations.

Job Duties

• Verify and review processed metadata for inaccuracies.
• Resolve discrepancies by using standard company procedures (correcting, deleting, or reentering data, etc.) or returning incorrect documents to the relevant team leader for resolution.
• Verify processed data against stricter guidelines to ensure accuracy above company standards.
• Monitor and review performance based on the accuracy of data processing staff to ensure results align with company standards.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing established Monthly, Weekly, or Daily targets.
• Assist data processing staff and quality assurance trainees by providing work-related guidance for rules and procedures.
• Contribute effectively to discussions on team matters at conferences.
• Perform other clerical, administrative, and miscellaneous duties as required.
• Maintain effective communication with team superiors and other team members, demonstrating strong communication skills.

Requirements

• GCE A/Ls or GCE O/L with a certificate or diploma-level qualification.
• Good proofreading knowledge.
• Sound knowledge of shared Google Drives and email communication.
• Ability to work in Google Sheets or Docs with a fine understanding of internet research and computer fundamentals.
• Good communication skills in the English language (verbal/written).
• Excellent data collection and analysis skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a pressure environment.
• Good communication management with the team.
• Positive attitude and good manners.
• Ability to work in the morning hours.
