Requirements

  • Minimum 5 year(s) of experience (6 to 8 years preferred as Python Developer)
  • 15 years full time education
  • Strong hands-on experience with Python (5+ years)
  • Proficiency in frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns
  • Good experience with REST API development
  • Solid experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis)
  • Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (pytest, unittest)
  • Experience working with Git, version control, and Agile methodologies
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, automated deployments, and DevOps practices
  • Basic understanding of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the quality and compliance of an organization's data assets
  • Design and implement data strategies, ensuring data integrity and enforcing governance policies
  • Establish protocols to handle data, safeguard sensitive information, and optimize data usage within the organization
  • Design and advise on data quality rules and set up effective data compliance policies
  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and applications using Python
  • Build scalable and reusable components, modules, and libraries
  • Develop RESTful APIs or microservices using frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django
  • Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, etc
  • Implement data processing pipelines, automation scripts, and integration workflows
  • Write clean, efficient, and testable code following coding standards and best practices
  • Troubleshoot and debug production issues and optimize application performance
  • Work with CI/CD pipelines and deployment tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, cloud engineers, and product teams
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of the development process
