Requirements

  • Within 12 months of completing an undergrad/grad degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Data Science, Math, Petroleum/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering)
  • Strong technical competency in Python, SQL, and GitHub
  • Drive demonstrated through self-training or personal projects
  • Customer empathy shown through project experience
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

  • Wrangling connected industrial data (1000+ sensors, billions of data points, work orders, log entries, etc.) in CDF using Python SDK, SQL, and Apache Spark Data Source
  • Uncover hidden insights and opportunities in complex industrial data through data cleansing and exploratory data analysis
  • Create custom data models for data discovery, mapping, and cleansing
  • Design and implement agents using the ATLAS AI workbench for enabling Industrial AI
  • Collaborate with data scientists, project managers, and solution architects on project deliveries to enable customers to achieve the full potential of the industrial dataops platform
  • Contribute to the foundation of the technology by building reusable code and libraries for the entire engineering team
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
  • Present work to the rest of Cognite together with the team at the end of the internship
