Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
2+ years of experience in data engineering and data visualization, with a proven track record
Proficiency in Microsoft Databricks and Power BI Gen 2
Proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark programming skills
Proficiency with data architecture and data processing tools
Certifications preferred: Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer Associate (DP-700), Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate/Professional, Microsoft Power BI (PL-300)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Microsoft Azure and Databricks for data ingestion, transformation, and storage
Implement best practices for data management, including data governance, security, and compliance
Lead the development of interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI Gen 2 that provide insights into business performance and market behaviour
Create compelling visualizations that communicate complex data in an accessible manner
Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering and visualization, particularly within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem
Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance data capabilities within the organization
Drive innovation by exploring new methodologies for data analysis and visualization
Shape the organization's data strategy to support decision-making across the organization
