Requirements

Must have a current/active TS/SCI and be willing and able to obtain a CI polygraph
Experience formulating a repeatable process for data evaluations and communicating findings to government officials
In-depth knowledge of technical data types based on previous research and work with data sets of interest (e.g., Technical Telemetry Data, telecommunication protocol data types including cellular and wi-fi)
At least 5 years of experience as a data analyst, data scientist or similar
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be a self-starter with excellent time-management skills and the ability to independently manage multiple concurrent tasks
Must be experienced working in fast-paced environments
Experience working with Software Engineers to provide feedback and validate the technical implementation for custom applications
Experience working with a scripting language like Python, SQL, Spark, PySpark or similar
Must be able to work on-site in Herndon, VA, with the ability to work in Springfield, VA as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Comfortable with briefing government leadership
Experience conducting Activity-Based Intelligence or Pattern of Life analysis
Experience applying, improving, and documenting innovative analytic methodologies and ensuring they remain up to date with the latest information
Experience in a customer facing role
Familiarity with Gitlab
Experience working with Jupyter Notebooks or Zeppelin
Experience working with other intel analysts and/or special operations customers

Responsibilities

Performing and developing data evaluation and assessment efforts
Shaping data engineering approaches for analytic tradecraft improvements with applications
Identifying and documenting gaps within the data corpus and analytical capabilities
Working hand-in-hand with software developers to field requirements and provide feedback as changes are implemented into an application
Working with end-users to provide SME support for various data or application questions and requests
