Requirements

  • BA/BS in behavioral science (economics, psychology, etc.) with strong statistical chops or a BA/BS in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, engineering, or natural sciences
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience working in analytics or data science in product, operations, or marketing specific roles
  • Expert level SQL skills
  • Experience with BI tools
  • Solid understanding of statistical analysis
  • Ability to work with people across the company to identify business problems that should be solved with data & analytics

Responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining data models in DBT
  • Working with business partners to identify the key metrics for their product or vertical and help integrate data into their day to day operations
  • Working with engineers and product managers to set data tracking requirements
  • Provide guidance, reports, and dashboards to successfully track and move these metrics
  • Automate manual work via improving reporting and automating workflows
  • Actively suggesting changes to help our customers and business based on a deep understanding of your product area
  • Leveraging quantitative techniques to provide insights that cannot be gleaned from dashboards
