Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) from a four-college or university and 2 to 5 years’ related experience and/or training, along with a combination of education and experience considered equivalent. They must have SQL skills, including creating and modifying macros, and creating dashboards using SQL coding, and advanced Excel skills encompassing formulas, functions, pivot tables, lookup and reference formulas, statistical formulas, macros, conditional formatting, importing data, and creating graphs/charts.
The Data Analyst II will be responsible for statistical modeling and analysis of structured and unstructured datasets to develop metrics, reports, and visualizations of trends and patterns, identifying and capturing data from internal and external sources. They will ensure consistency throughout ongoing projects, create data visualizations, troubleshoot and test database technical issues with the development team, create monthly Excel and Google Sheets files from databases, independently analyze data sets to identify opportunities for increased accuracy and efficiency, perform quality assurance on data, handle data-related technical issues and support data infrastructure needs, assemble large, complex data sets, and work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in data systems, as well as perform other duties as required.
