Data Analyst - Business Intelligence

Position Overview

Blockchain.com is the world's leading software platform for digital assets. We are seeking a talented Data Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team, which is part of the larger Data Science team. This role will inform all product decisions and create models and infrastructure to improve efficiency, growth, and security by leveraging data from various sources.

Responsibilities

• Apply expertise in data mining and data visualization to extract insights for business and product decisions.
• Design, implement, and communicate predictive and descriptive models of key business operations and outcomes to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Create and maintain visualizations, including dashboards, reports, and alerts.
• Collaborate with product and/or market teams to identify key metrics for measuring business aspects.
• Identify and communicate data insights that improve consumer experience and meet business goals.
• Source appropriate data to support the creation and implementation of product strategies.
• Work across Customer Success, Marketing, and Product teams to define retail customer segmentation and customer journey profiles.

Requirements

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in STEM (Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Economics) or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with probability and statistics, including hypothesis testing, simulations, ANOVA, and Bayesian statistics.
• Proficiency in Python (or a similar data analytics scripting language) and SQL.
• Proficiency with relational and non-relational database systems.
• Proficiency in cloud platform development environments.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Crypto.
• Experience with Financial Reporting or Accounting.
• Experience with R, C++, Java, or other programming/scripting languages.
• 4+ years working in a similar role or function.

Compensation & Perks

• Salary: Target annual salary for this position in the United States ranges from $110,000 to $140,000, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
