Requirements

Ability to work with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge
Experience querying disparate big data platforms such as Teradata, SQL Server, Hadoop, and AWS
Proficiency in self-service analytics and reporting tools
Skills in exploratory data analysis, hypothesis testing, forecasting models, A/B testing, clustering/segmentation, normalization techniques, natural language processing (NLP), and data visualization
Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; flexibility to work nights, weekends, and variable schedules as necessary

Responsibilities

Work cross-functionally to collect data and develop models to determine trends using various data sources
Retrieve, analyze, and summarize business, operations, employee, customer, and/or economic data to develop business intelligence, optimize effectiveness, predict outcomes, and support decision-making
Conduct analyses informing key business decisions, including impact measurement of new products/features, process optimization via A/B testing, customer clustering/segmentation, deep dive analyses of trends, NLP of NPS survey responses, and upsell strategy frameworks
Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to understand data/analysis needs and develop technical requirements
Determine data relevancy and identify alternative data sources to enable requested analytics
Analyze large, complex data for actionable business insights
Combine data from disparate sources to complete analyses
Identify key business drivers and insights through exploratory data analysis and hypothesis testing
Develop forecasting models to predict sales, demand, and other key metrics
Analyze campaign, offer, or initiative results to measure effectiveness and identify improvements
Communicate findings clearly through narrative-driven presentations and data visualizations to executives and decision-makers
Promote a culture of excellence, data-driven discussions, healthy skepticism, intellectual curiosity, knowledge sharing, and teamwork
Stay current with trends in analytics, statistics, and machine learning, applying them to business challenges
Perform other duties as assigned
