Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree related to Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science or Operations Research
Have an understanding of data visualization and BI tools (i.e. Looker or Tableau)
Familiarity with SQL and cleaning/processing data
Passion for organization and documentation
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to build strong relationships and trust with all partners at GoFundMe both technical and non-technical
Experience with data science using Python (nice to have)
Ability to work onsite three days per week in San Francisco, CA

Responsibilities

Provide data-driven analyses using SQL and/or Looker to inform our roadmap and deliver insights to our stakeholders
Inventory BI environment and work with stakeholders to gather usage requirements and develop documentation
Clean and organize data from various sources into our Snowflake Warehouse
Develop high-level dashboards in Looker to support data-driven strategy and insights
Collaborate with the Decision Science team to drive ad hoc requests and define metrics for dashboard development
Identify hypotheses, participate in experiment design; make clear, coherent and holistic recommendations based on test results
