Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in cybersecurity and/or privacy, with exposure to both strategic and technical domains
  • Minimum of 8 years of strong working knowledge of key frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, etc.)
  • Minimum of 8 years of prior consulting or advisory experience with Software and Platform industry/clients, or an ability to thrive in engineering-driven environments
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)
  • Self-starter and AI enthusiast
  • Thrive in client-facing consulting environments, especially within the Software and Platform industry

Responsibilities

  • Deliver strategic maturity assessments, roadmaps, and integrated security and privacy programs aligned with clients’ business and risk priorities
  • Work across global privacy and security frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS)
  • Help clients rationalize and optimize tooling and architecture choices—not just implement controls
  • Confidently lead conversations with CISOs, Chief Privacy Officers, and other C-suite stakeholders
  • Partner directly with technical stakeholders—including engineering, product, and architecture teams—ensuring recommendations are both technically feasible and innovative
  • Translate regulatory and policy requirements into product- and platform-aware solutions that make sense in build-heavy environments
  • Bring an active interest in generative AI and a demonstrated track record of exploring, experimenting with, or implementing AI in the security or privacy domain
  • Help shape and deliver AI-enabled workflows that reimagine how risk, compliance, and privacy are operationalized
  • Collaborate with teams to define where human-AI teaming can bring disproportionate impact—especially in advisory, assurance, and reporting processes
