Cybersecurity - Manager (copy) at CFGI

While they judge candidates on quality rather than time served, around 5 years’ experience in technology and security related fields is a good gauge. Experience doesn't have to be purely in cybersecurity consulting; practical skillsets from in-house roles, broader technology management, or GRC are also suitable.

Key skills include conducting cybersecurity maturity and risk assessments, implementing security controls in MDR, IAM, Network Security, and Cloud Deployments, advising on cybersecurity strategy and metrics, building risk management practices, and experience as a systems administrator, engineer, or security analyst. Additional knowledge covers operating system hardening, network design, security analysis, events, and penetration testing.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially cross-cultural; calmness under pressure with a positive attitude; agility and flexibility in dealing with ambiguity; and confidence to manage upwards and contribute ideas to improve CFGI’s cyber offering.

Industry certifications like CISSP and CISM are preferred but not required. Technology-specific qualifications in technology or security solutions are also valued.
