Ability to lead medical affairs activities in HIV and contribute to cross-functional projects
Dedication of at least 50% of time to customer-facing field activities (meetings, presentations, congresses)
Compliance with pharmaceutical regulations and laws, expertise in drug safety and medical topics
Ability to develop medical product information and stay informed on scientific trends and competition

Responsibilities

Provide medical support to cross-functional teams in the affiliate within the HIV therapeutic area
Liaise with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals in academic and clinical centres for scientific exchange and data generation
Establish and maintain relationships with opinion leaders, payers, clinical investigators, providers, and relevant non-governmental organizations
Maintain and update a country opinion leaders (OL) list twice yearly
Drive discussions and projects to integrate scientific data into clinical decision making for patient benefit
Identify and collaborate with local experts on local data generation activities
Assist with pipeline activities, liaise with Clinical Operations, and support site selection for Phase IV and other clinical trials
Support preparation of scientific presentations and speaker briefings during scientific meetings/medical education events
Ensure accuracy of data to support existing products or new product launches
Ensure Gilead’s medical affairs activities comply with pharmaceutical regulations and laws
