Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Datadog in enterprise environments (must have: Datadog Product Expertise including Infra, APM, Metric collection, Ingestion, Dashboard creation and optimization)
  • Proficiency in Python / Ansible
  • Strong understanding of observability principles, including metrics, logs, traces, and service dependencies
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration
  • Knowledge of ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow) and integration patterns
  • Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (15 years full time education)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and maintain Datadog integrations across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments
  • Design, configure, and maintain Datadog dashboards and visualization layers
  • Develop and enforce dashboard, alert, logging, SLO/SLIs, and naming/tagging standards
  • Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to onboard services into Datadog
  • Support self-service onboarding and champion the Observability Champion Network for training and adoption
  • Work closely with AIOps architects, SREs, and delivery teams to align observability goals with business outcomes
  • Participate in deep-dive sessions to define KPIs, golden signals, and service-level objectives (SLOs)
