Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience with Datadog in enterprise environments (must have: Datadog Product Expertise including Infra, APM, Metric collection, Ingestion, Dashboard creation and optimization)
Proficiency in Python / Ansible
Strong understanding of observability principles, including metrics, logs, traces, and service dependencies
Experience with infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform)
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration
Knowledge of ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow) and integration patterns
Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (15 years full time education)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

Design, configure, and maintain Datadog integrations across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments
Design, configure, and maintain Datadog dashboards and visualization layers
Develop and enforce dashboard, alert, logging, SLO/SLIs, and naming/tagging standards
Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to onboard services into Datadog
Support self-service onboarding and champion the Observability Champion Network for training and adoption
Work closely with AIOps architects, SREs, and delivery teams to align observability goals with business outcomes
Participate in deep-dive sessions to define KPIs, golden signals, and service-level objectives (SLOs)
