Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in Enterprise Network Operations (6+ years preferred in Network operational support/management roles)
15 years full-time education
Network Engineer skills with Implementation and Troubleshooting required
Good Routing and Switching skills with knowledge of Wireless and F5 infrastructure
Experience in Infoblox DNS and DHCP configuration and management
Experience in F5 LTM and GTM Load balancers
Experience in Firewalls (added advantage)
Good Design skills and Documentation required
Knowledge of Monitoring tools (beneficial)
Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, 802.11, 802.1X)
Hands-on experience of LAN/WLAN/WAN support for voice, data, and video networks at Access and Core layers
Expertise on Routing protocols like BGP (can list advantages)
Advanced knowledge of Fault Management (Identify/Classify/Investigate/Diagnose/Resolve faults)
Experience in software patch management for network devices (testing and deployment)
Experience managing Multi-Client Networks, WAN Links, LAN Management, and Advanced Networking/Network Protocols
IT architecture, Data Center, and Cloud Offering knowledge
Relevant understanding of Key IT system areas: DC Components, NW Components
In-depth understanding of Cisco platforms
Advanced capability in design and deployment of Cisco Validated Designs
Strong on BGP and OSPF routing protocols and experience with various network management tools
Experience engineering, delivering, and supporting IOS, IOS-XE, and NX-OS based switching platforms
Understanding of Cisco Nexus and Catalyst product lines, L2 and L3 quality of service
Experience supporting Network deployments, transitions, and transformations
Good understanding of procedures, applications, and concepts within own subject area
Ability to learn new technologies quickly
Good time management skills
Ability to follow processes
Good communication skills (written and verbal)

Responsibilities

Lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact
Act as the ongoing interface between the client and the system or application
Dedicated to quality, using exceptional communication skills to keep systems running
Accurately define client issues and interpret/design resolutions based on deep product knowledge
Implementation of large-scale deployments across the network; configure and install network devices/services (e.g., routers, switches, Wireless, F5 load balancers)
Provide Level 3 support for troubleshooting and resolving issues
Provide day-to-day operational support for in-scope device Management Services
Perform software patch management for network devices, including patch testing and timely deployment
Coordinate with 3rd party vendors for Network Hardware replacement and Core level debugging
Follow ITIL processes with skills in Incident and Change management methodologies
