Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in SAP for Retail
  • Proficiency in SAP for Retail (Must have skill)
  • 15 years full time education
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle methodologies
  • Experience with modern programming languages and frameworks
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve software issues efficiently
  • Familiarity with agile development practices and tools
  • Understanding of article/material master harmonization across retail and non-retail business streams
  • Knowledge of retail-specific material types (articles, variants, generic articles)
  • Experience with material group to merchandising category mapping and harmonization
  • Knowledge of retail procurement cycles (direct, indirect, consignment, intercompany)
  • Vendor master data management and integration with retail processes
  • Purchase order (PO) management, including automatic PO creation for stores
  • Handling of promotions, pricing, and special procurement types in retail
  • Retail inventory processes (store inventory, warehouse, distribution center)
  • Stock transfers between stores, warehouses, and central distribution
  • Physical inventory processes and cycle counting in a retail environment
  • Integration with POS (Point of Sale) systems for real-time inventory updates
  • Knowledge of assortment planning and listing procedures for retail stores
  • Article listing, delisting, and store-specific assortment management
  • Store operations (goods receipt, goods issue, store-to-store transfers)
  • Handling of promotions, markdowns, and price changes
  • Batch management and serial number management in retail
  • Experience in data migration strategies for material master and transactional data
  • Data cleansing and harmonization for common materials/articles across business units
