Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Engineering
Strong proficiency in Databricks, PySpark, Python, and SQL
15 years full-time education
Familiarity with data modeling, warehousing concepts, and big data technologies
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git)
Knowledge of Delta Lake, MLflow, or other Databricks ecosystem tools (good to have)
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP) (plus)
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) (bonus)
Experience with RDBMS – Oracle SQL/PL-SQL (big plus)
Must have skills: Data Engineering
Good to have skills: Python (Programming Language), Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines using Databricks and PySpark
Write efficient and reusable code in Python for data transformation and automation tasks
Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL)
Collaborate with product owners, architects, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver high-quality solutions
Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across all data processes
Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows and performance issues
Document technical solutions and maintain best practices for data engineering
Lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact
Collaborate with various teams to ensure application development aligns with business objectives
Oversee project timelines and facilitate communication among stakeholders to drive project success
Engage in problem-solving activities, providing guidance and support to the team while ensuring best practices are followed
