Responsibilities

Expected to be an SME
Collaborate and manage the team to perform
Responsible for team decisions
Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions
Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams
Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities
Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of application features
Lead the ABAP workstream for the S/4HANA upgrade/migration
Perform custom code analysis (ATC / SCI) to assess ECC custom objects and remediate them for S/4HANA compatibility
Optimize performance using HANA-native coding techniques (AMDPs, CDS Views, Open SQL, ABAP on HANA best practices)
Collaborate with functional teams to validate business-critical customizations and enhancements
Ensure adherence to SAP Clean Core strategy – minimize customizations where standard functionality exists
Drive code remediation, simplification list impact analysis, and testing for upgraded custom objects
Mentor and guide offshore/onsite ABAP developers to deliver high-quality technical solutions
Provide expertise on S/4HANA migration cockpit, BAPIs, OData services, Fiori integration where applicable
Support cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities from a technical perspective
