Strong understanding of various machine learning algorithms and their applications
Experience with data preprocessing and feature engineering techniques
Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R
Knowledge of software development methodologies and version control systems

Responsibilities

Develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications using modern frameworks and agile practices
Analyze, design, code, and test various components of application code for multiple clients
Engage in maintenance and enhancement tasks to ensure applications function optimally and meet client requirements
Collaborate with team members to contribute to the development process and address challenges
Enable trusted, enterprise-ready adoption of AI by consuming, integrating, and operationalizing advanced AI models (LLMs to SLMs) into secure, governed, and scalable business solutions
Enforce governance by design, including data-handling policies in code (prompt redaction middleware, retrieval allow-lists, per-use-case policies)
Implement Prompt/Agent CI/CD with evaluation gates (answer quality, safety), canary deploys with feature flags, and automated rollback on drift
Manage model lifecycle, including SLM/LoRA fine-tuning with consented datasets, synthetic augmentation policies, and model registry entries with lineage
Implement observability, including tracing (request → retrieved docs → model output → tool calls), latency & cost SLOs, and alerts on hallucination/safety incidents
Develop provider abstraction to wrap OpenAI/Gemini/Azure OpenAI/Vertex behind an interface, capturing provider/region, model/version, and quota routing
Handle RAG Ops, including scheduling index rebuilds, freshness windows, incremental sync, and search quality dashboards with regression alerts
Develop APIs and microservices to integrate AI with internal/external applications
Partner with business stakeholders to identify and validate use cases
