Strong hands-on experience with IICS (Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services) and Informatica Cloud
Must have skills: Informatica PowerCenter
Advanced proficiency in Snowflake Data Warehouse and cloud data services (AWS, S3, etc.) recommended
Knowledge of APIs, RESTful services, JSON, and XML integrations
Expert proficiency in performance tuning, pushdown optimization, and parallel processing suggested
Familiarity with data modeling and metadata management tools is a plus
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Adaptability to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment
Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement ETL pipelines using IICS to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources (on-premises DB2 databases, APIs, cloud services, flat files) into Snowflake; optimize data transformations, mappings, workflows, and parameterized sessions; implement streaming and batch data processing solutions
Design data pipelines for hybrid cloud environments (on-prem to AWS data ingestion); collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and business teams to identify data requirements, define data mapping and transformation logic, and design effective data ingestion solutions
Monitor and optimize ETL jobs for performance, scalability, reliability, and efficiency; diagnose and resolve data integration failures, bottlenecks, and error handling; optimize SQL queries, session parameters, and pushdown optimization
Work with offshore data engineers to document ETL processes, technical specifications, and best practices
Act as the primary point of contact for client and offshore development team to select, implement, and optimize data ingestion patterns
