  • Meet physical demands: regularly stand, walk, sit, talk, use hands to finger; exposure to allergens, dust, pollen, plant pathogens; daily use of PPE (masks, hair nets, beard covers, respirators, boot covers, scrubs, non-slip shoes, Tyvek suits); exposure to loud noises, CO2 at OSHA levels; high-stress tolerance, adaptability, flexibility in changing environment
  • Even better: previous landscaping, horticulture, or agriculture experience
  • Even better: strong knowledge of weights and measurements

Responsibilities

  • Work with cultivation leadership to plan for growing activities consistent with planned production schedules
  • Prepare space required for planned production
  • Cloning: cutting, rooting, and transplanting; clone care, watering, and feeding
  • Monitor growing conditions (humidity, moisture, temperature) and review changes in cultivation procedures to ensure conformance with quality control standards
  • Inspect crop for conditions such as leaf texture, bloom size, pests or disease; remove substandard or diseased plants to maintain quality standards
  • Monitor and care for plants during vegetative and flowering phase
  • Harvesting: cutting plants; trimming cut plants; removing flowering tops
  • Curing: hanging and dry-racking flowers; monitoring curing process and climate control
  • Operate and maintain cultivation systems/equipment
  • Ensure daily compliance with policies and procedures (state compliance, security protocols, access protocols)
  • Trimming, pruning, debulking, transplanting, canopy manipulation, data entry, and overall plant care
  • Cleaning, sanitation, and organization tasks in grow rooms using provided instruments and chemicals to ensure sterile, pest-free environment
  • Other duties as assigned related to the overall health and efficiency of cultivation efforts
