Requirements

Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field
At least one year of experience working with families experiencing trauma, mental health, substance abuse, domestic violence, homelessness and child abuse and/or neglect
Ability to facilitate positive interactions and work collaboratively with families
Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, use of an insured vehicle and an acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

Carry a caseload of up to 8 families
Facilitate 3 Triple P groups annually serving 8–12 parents per group
Complete assessments of families and children
Aid families in the development of their goals for change and implement and adjust interventions to align with family goals
Conduct sessions with families focusing on child development, managing misbehavior, encouraging independent routine and child play
Participate in weekly supervision
Collaborate with peers, DCP&P, and other community providers to effectively implement the Triple P individual and group intervention
Complete necessary documentation required for Triple P and Acenda
