Candidates must possess an Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience, with a Bachelor's or Master's degree being a plus. A minimum of 8 years of experience as a copywriter or lead in an advertising agency, including 3 years in automotive advertising and 5 years leading a copy team, is required. Proficiency in Mac OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and a strong understanding of multichannel copy strategies and brand voice management are essential. Excellent leadership, team building, communication, organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines are also necessary.
The Copy Manager will lead and direct the Copy team to ensure timely and accurate completion of deliverables while staying within budget and meeting quality standards. This role involves understanding client brand voices and advertising needs to execute successful marketing campaigns, and writing clear advertising copy across various platforms. The manager will also develop and maintain training documentation, contribute to the overall creative team vision, collaborate with other creatives on campaigns, provide monthly updates to upper management, manage team PTO, and ensure timely submission of invoices and expenses.
