Qualified to HNC level or higher in an Electrical, Electronic or Control Engineering discipline
Strong experience in PLC (Siemens S7), HMI, Motion Control, Vision Systems, Instrumentation and PID control systems
Practical experience of Electrical systems
Creative and innovative approach to problem solving
Willingness to travel 5% of the time

Responsibilities

Contribute to the research and investigation of technologies suitable for integration into future products and processes
Provide Controls & Instrumentation Engineering expertise to a multi-disciplinary team of scientists and engineers on engineering projects
Contribute to product development projects from initiation through to manufacture
Design control systems
Source and test instrumentation to prove suitability for application
Characterise and optimise equipment
