Requirements

  • Based out of Argentina or Mexico
  • 5+ years of experience with frontend software development
  • Demonstrated success in building complex web applications with simple, elegant, and maintainable solutions
  • Experience with Javascript, Typescript, semantic HTML, responsive CSS, and either React or Next.js
  • Experience with modern web standards, responsive design, and web accessibility requirements (WCAG 2.0+)
  • Ability to collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to identify and resolve risks and challenges

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical contact for Front End concerns within your team and for your space (the code area owned by the team)
  • Work with the team's leadership helping balance technical concerns with long-term strategy, front-end requirements, and cross-functional needs
  • Involved in the earliest stages of each project working with team leadership to help with technical scoping and technical discovery
  • Responsible for the quality of Front End PR’s on your team: thorough checks, title and summaries, and technical review - helping cultivate a robust technical review culture within the team
  • Work with team leadership to critically and technically review all PRs and broaden round-robin reviews to empower review growth across the team
  • Work with team managers to ensure technical tickets are scoped appropriately and well communicated and match the technical designs agreed upon
