Requirements

Candidates must have 7+ years of software testing and quality assurance experience, with at least 2 years using WebdriverIO/Playwright. A minimum of 4 years of experience developing test frameworks and scripts with TypeScript/JavaScript or Python is required, along with hands-on experience in building automated scripts in an agile environment. Experience with various testing types including manual, regression, integration, services, and database testing is essential, as is 4+ years of experience in an Agile Scrum environment. Experience writing and executing manual and automated test cases for websites and mobile apps is also necessary. Experience testing AI-driven services and LLMs is beneficial.

Responsibilities

The contractor will be responsible for testing stories and bugs manually, then incrementally building automated tests. This role involves developing and executing test plans, supporting production releases, and developing new and refactoring existing automated regression test cases using TypeScript in the webdriverIO/Playwright Automation Framework. Responsibilities include testing internally built LLMs and external AI tools/services, building test automation from scratch at the services/API layer, and testing APIs manually or with automated calls. The engineer will collaborate with developers, product owners, and other QA engineers to strategize and execute test plans, advocate for software quality, and communicate test status and progress to stakeholders. Responsibilities also include finding, documenting, and tracking bugs, and performing all types of software testing within a scrum team.
