Strong experience with systems design, database design and maintenance, and documentation is essential, particularly in financial technology or ledger systems.
As a Staff Backend Engineer, you will design, build, and optimize software systems for performance, scalability, reliability, and security, taking ownership of the codebase to improve quality and reduce technical debt. You will lead and implement technical strategies within and across teams, collaborate with Product Management and cross-functional teams to resolve complex challenges, communicate architectural strategies effectively to stakeholders, mentor all levels of engineers, monitor system performance, drive optimization initiatives, and participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents.
