Candidates should possess 8+ years of professional software development experience with deep knowledge of modern JavaScript (ES6+) or TypeScript, CSS, and HTML. Extensive experience with a modern JS framework like Vue (preferred), React, or Angular is required, along with experience in unit testing and end-to-end UI testing. A basic understanding of accessibility (WCAG) guidelines and engineering principles is necessary. Strong self-motivation, self-organization, and self-education skills are essential, as is an intermediate level of English proficiency for technical interviews. Basic knowledge of PHP or server-side JavaScript/TypeScript is also required. Flutter or mobile experience is a significant plus.
The Senior/Lead Front End Engineer will collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions, designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable front-end code for web applications. Responsibilities include utilizing modern frameworks like Vue.js, Nuxt, React.js, or Angular, optimizing front-end performance, ensuring cross-browser compatibility, and integrating front-end interfaces with backend APIs. The role involves contributing to codebase enhancements by improving quality, documentation, and reducing technical debt, while staying updated on emerging technologies. This position requires utilizing collaborative tools for communication and project management, participating in code and design reviews, and documenting code and technical specifications. Additionally, the engineer will analyze system performance, respond to incidents, provide on-call support, and participate in the Scrum process, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. They will also attend project-critical meetings, provide status updates, manage time independently to meet deliverables (estimated 40 hours/week), and coordinate with the team during core hours (8:00 am - 11:00 pm Pacific Time), with occasional availability until 12:00 pm Pacific Time.
