Requirements

  • Minimum of 2–4 years’ experience in negotiating commercial contracts, or equivalent experience
  • Strong analytical skills and detail-oriented approach
  • Proficient in the MS Suite
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Conga CLM experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to coordinate and fulfill multiple tasks within given timelines by following established procedures in a fast-paced environment
  • Sense of urgency when completing assigned tasks
  • Good interpersonal skills and capability to interact with and establish respect and confidence of colleagues in different functions around the world
  • Ability to promptly identify and tackle process problems
  • Extensive experience in negotiating complex commercial contracts in the B2B or SaaS space (ideal)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, systems savvy, able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-energy global environment (ideal)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law/Legal Management (helpful)

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret client edits to standard contracts
  • Determine and apply appropriate edits to client redlines and requests
  • Communicate responses internally and externally in a clear and concise manner
  • Lead client negotiations, address client concerns, and provide strategic feedback to client requests
  • Coordinate necessary escalations and approvals related to contractual risks, compliance issues, and related terms and conditions
  • Maintain expert knowledge of all CAP commercial contracting templates, applicable fallback language, and acceptable deviations
  • Have a thorough understanding of all CAP products to speak knowledgeably and confidently about relevant agreement terms and conditions
  • Use Conga CLM to facilitate the negotiation and finalization of contracts
  • Perform other contract-related tasks as assigned
  • Develop negotiation strategies and ensure favorable terms for Nasdaq
