Requirements

Candidates should have over 5 years of experience in a data-related field, possess strong Python skills with Pandas and data structures, and have efficient batch process scripting capabilities. Proficiency in SQL with relational databases and NoSQL databases like Snowflake, Microsoft SQL, and Microsoft Dynamics is required. Experience with third-party REST APIs, JSON data, Linux command line operations, and AWS cloud technologies such as S3 and EC2 is also necessary. Experience with CRM or IVR data connections is beneficial.

Responsibilities

The Data Engineer will design and implement components of a data science collaboration and deployment platform. They will build and maintain event capture/transformation flows, feature repositories, and data cache for real-time analytics. Responsibilities include developing automated, streaming data pipelines for event capture, transformation, and feature extraction to support machine learning processes. The engineer will also collaborate with Data Architecture and other Data Engineering groups, focusing on operationalizing data flows for data science and analytics teams, and develop code to extract value from various data sources into refined repositories.
