Proficiency in Documentation Software, Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet searches, E-mail, I.B.S., Consumer Loan Origination System, and Optima (including upgrades or replacements)
Detailed knowledge of products, applicable laws, and S&T Bank’s Lending Policy
Ability to operate keypad device, electronic equipment, and office equipment (90% of the day)
Manual dexterity skills for typing and filing (up to 60% of the business day)
Close vision (18”-20” for computer work)

Responsibilities

Prepare Non-Real Estate consumer loan documents efficiently and accurately according to bank policy, compliance, and regulations
Ensure closing documents are prepared accurately and provided timely to bankers to meet closing dates
Acquire and maintain detailed knowledge of products, laws, and S&T Bank’s Lending Policy for compliance
Ensure hazard insurance has appropriate limits and coverage for vehicle loans
Ensure homeowners insurance and flood insurance have appropriate limits, coverage, effective dates, and S&T Bank listed correctly for home equity loans
Monitor the S&T Closing Date Report to prepare documents based on requested closing dates
Satisfy underwriting stipulations according to conditional approval
Review and verify supporting documents from third parties and bankers; make necessary changes to loan packages
Update product log, Documentation Checklist, and internal closing calendar ongoing
Assist in training and development of Consumer Bankers; maintain and update Consumer Loan Desktop Procedure manual
Prepare documents for consumer loans following federal and state regulations, verifying all approved loan conditions are met before release
Maintain good working relationships with bank employees; demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as a team player
Perform all additional duties as required
