Requirements

  • Seasoned professional with 5+ years of experience in capital markets operations
  • Strong understanding of FX products, trade lifecycles, and settlement procedures (preferred)
  • Working knowledge of the Murex application (MX.3) (preferred)
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for identifying trends
  • Proficiency in Excel; coding experience a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and prioritize effectively
  • Project Management and Business Analysis experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Enhance FX operations through process improvement projects
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions
  • Act as a subject matter expert on FX products, instruments, and settlements
  • Collaborate with others to resolve operational issues and ensure seamless trade execution
  • Analyze operational data to identify trends and proactively address potential issues
  • Carry out relatively complex, extensive, high-profile activities e.g. direct interaction with internal/external clients and more senior management
  • Technically competent to act as first point of reference for day-to-day queries and serves as a liaison to related areas
  • May lead projects and/or train lower-level staff
  • Focuses on maintenance and implementation of policies and procedures in the function, building towards becoming an area expert
