Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in configuration management, document control, or project coordination within the construction or engineering industry
  • Familiarity with construction document management systems (e.g., Aconex, Sharepoint)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the documentation management and version control for all configuration items (drawings, specifications, technical data, and design changes) on construction projects
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure that configuration changes are accurately documented, reviewed, and approved before implementation
  • Maintain a configuration management system to ensure all project documents and items are versioned, tracked, and properly stored
  • Ensure that all project-related documents are in compliance with company standards, contract specifications, and regulatory requirements
  • Support the review and approval process for project deliverables and changes to ensure they meet configuration management protocols
  • Work with the project team to identify configuration management needs and resolve any issues related to document control or data inconsistencies
  • Ensure that design changes, revisions, and updates are promptly communicated to relevant stakeholders to maintain alignment across the project
  • Assist in preparing configuration reports, audits, and status updates for internal teams and clients
  • Coordinate the delivery and distribution of project documentation and configuration updates to stakeholders
  • Maintain auditing processes to ensure accuracy and integrity of project configurations
  • Provide training and support to project teams on configuration management processes and tools
