Requirements

Candidates must have over 5 years of concept art experience, ideally in live games or fast-paced creative pipelines. A strong portfolio showcasing artistic fundamentals, high taste level, and appeal to a fashion-conscious audience, particularly female, is essential. Experience designing assets for mobile-first or stylized platforms is required, along with proficiency in tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, Clip Studio Paint, or Procreate. Strong visual storytelling, design sensibility, fast iteration capabilities, clear communication, and proactive ownership are crucial. Bonus points for experience with 3D tools, fashion industry knowledge, marketing art or UI/UX design, and animation or motion graphics skills.

Responsibilities

The Concept Artist will design fashion-forward clothing, characters, accessories, and props that resonate with the community. They will deliver high-quality sketches, renders, mood boards, and visual references at a fast pace. Responsibilities include collaborating closely with the Creative Director and Producer to align vision, scope, and deadlines, pushing visual boundaries while adhering to Highrise's aesthetic and gameplay needs, and iterating quickly based on feedback. The role also involves helping to evolve and raise the bar on internal concept art standards and occasionally partnering with external artists or studios for creative consistency and throughput.
