Requirements

  • B.Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Hands-on experience with Java (mandatory); Python experience is a plus
  • Experience with Elasticsearch/OpenSearch
  • Familiarity with search engine technology and inverted indexes
  • Experience in building data processing or indexing pipelines
  • Exposure to Apache Kafka, Storm, or Spark
  • Experience with AWS services
  • Knowledge of web services and REST API design and architecture
  • Proficiency in RDBMS and NoSQL databases
  • Experience in developing SaaS-based software solutions

Responsibilities

  • Work on data ingestion, search indexing, distributed systems, deep learning, recommendations, and performance by developing a search platform at Adobe that powers product lines such as Express, Creative Cloud, Acrobat, Marketing Cloud, and Stock
  • Apply machine learning techniques to enhance ranking and recommendations within search workflows
  • Build platforms to index billions of images, documents, and other assets in real time
  • Maintain and optimize the search engine, identify new opportunities for improvement, and develop new features
  • Benchmark possible solutions in terms of search relevance, recommendations, user experience, performance, and feasibility
  • Build and maintain these systems using technologies such as Elastic Search, RESTful web services, SQS/Kafka, and machine learning frameworks
