Requirements

Candidates must possess a minimum of ten years of experience and hold either an Associate's Degree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, such as General Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Forensics, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Information Assurance, or Computer Security, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Alternatively, candidates may have eight years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree, six years with a Master’s degree, or four years with a Doctorate’s degree in a related field. U.S. citizenship and position-appropriate security clearance (e.g., Active TS/SCI with agency appropriate polygraph) are required, along with 18 semester hours of military training/coursework in networking, computer science, or cyber topics equivalent to an Associate's degree. Relevant experience must be in computer or information systems design/development, programming, information/cyber/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance, and/or systems engineering, and experience in network or system administration is also necessary.
