Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Education, Criminal Justice, Family Studies, Counseling, Recreational Therapy, Human Services, Human Development, Child Development, Gerontology, Behavioral Science, or Rehabilitation Counseling
  • OR Associate of Applied Science in Behavioral Health Support degree from an approved institution
  • OR At least four years of work experience in a related human services field (e.g., case management, residential support, developmentally disabled support, vocational rehabilitation) or a combination of education and experience equaling four years
  • OR Qualified Addictions Professional (QAP) certification (CADC, CRADC, CRAADC, CCJP, RADC-P, RADC, CCDP, CCDP-D)
  • Must be at least 21 years of age to operate a company-owned vehicle
  • Must be at least 23 years of age to operate a company-owned fifteen (15) passenger van
  • Requires current driver’s license, acceptable (assumed based on context)

Responsibilities

  • Develop meaningful relationships with clients and support them in achieving personalized treatment goals
  • Provide strengths-based, community-based mental health services to individuals using evidence-based practices including CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing
  • Facilitate group sessions and behavioral interventions aligned with each client’s treatment plan
  • Coordinate services with families, schools, physicians, psychiatrists, and community organizations to ensure comprehensive care
  • Monitor client progress and adapt interventions as necessary to support recovery
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with agency standards
  • Participate in professional development, training, and quality improvement activities
  • Build collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and community partners
  • Support clients in accessing local resources to improve independence and overall well-being
