Requirements

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • 8+ years of experience in commissioning, operation, and maintenance of Waste Boiler Technology and Auxiliaries
  • Experience in managing mechanical completion walkdowns and plant handover processes
  • Previous experience coordinating with OEM vendors, EPC contractors, and multidisciplinary teams in large-scale power or energy projects
  • Proficiency in preparing commissioning procedures, test plans, reports, and plant documentation
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills to work effectively with engineers, technicians, and plant operators

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and oversee detailed commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules for the Boiler and Auxiliaries, ensuring alignment with project timelines and performance targets
  • Conduct and supervise functional tests, cold and hot commissioning, system tuning, and performance validation to achieve optimal emissions control and operational efficiency
  • Participate in mechanical completion inspections and walkdowns, verifying equipment installations, system integrity, and readiness for commissioning
  • Lead commissioning of all Boiler and auxiliary systems
  • Manage and coordinate with OEM vendors, subcontractors, and engineering teams to ensure timely execution of commissioning activities and resolution of technical issues
  • Identify, analyse, and resolve technical and operational issues related to Waste Crane, Ram Feeder, Grate Moving, CCS, CCS+, Rapping system, and Hydraulic system
  • Ensure all commissioning activities adhere to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations, risk assessments, and industry standards to maintain a safe working environment
  • Track system performance, analyze data, and generate detailed reports on commissioning progress, test results, and operational improvements
  • Provide technical guidance and training to plant operators and maintenance teams, ensuring a seamless transition from commissioning to full-scale operations
