Responsibilities
- Review completed or updated title searches for commercial transactions depending on the locality and corporate standards
- Analyze records, such as liens, judgments, easements and property survey to determine ownership and legal restrictions and to verify legal description of property and completeness of records
- Create invoices based on properly priced commitments, endorsements, and policies using appropriate schedule of fees and charges and communications with the national pricing team and local offices
- Review and approve a variety of documentation including deeds, loan documents, operating agreements, and corporate resolutions
- Submit documentation for recording across national jurisdictions
- Select appropriate templates for policies and endorsements for both standard and extended coverage
- In some regions/locations, consult with local underwriters to review search packages and on matters that require escalation
