Responsibilities

  • Designing Combat Systems - Design fundamental combat mechanics such as attacks, dodges, defense, and skill usage to ensure smooth gameplay and balance for the player
  • Designing Enemy Characters and Bosses - Create enemy movements, attack patterns, and characteristics to provide a challenging and rewarding battle experience for players. Plan strategic elements and exciting features for boss battles
  • Adjusting Battle Balance - Maintain appropriate balance according to the player’s skills and equipment, ensuring the game’s difficulty remains fair by adjusting numbers and enemy placement
  • Playtesting and Feedback Analysis - Test the comfort, excitement, and strategic nature of combat and make improvements and adjustments based on player feedback
  • Creating Specifications and Design Documents - Prepare documents detailing the specifications of combat systems and related designs, organizing and communicating information clearly to other departments
