  • Proficiency with tools, machinery, electricity, and plumbing
  • Ability to read schematics (preferred)
  • Previous coffee industry/mechanical experience (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills
  • Desire to share knowledge and ability to teach others
  • Ability to carry and transport up to 60 lbs repetitively, participate in physical activity moving equipment around and working in tight spaces, sit or stand for extended periods
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision and effectively collaborate with team
  • Basic computer software experience (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Availability to occasionally work weekends, on call hours, and longer than standard eight-hour shifts
  • Valid and current driver’s license issued within the United States, no major violations in the past 3 years, and ability to drive a company vehicle
  • Ability to read, write, understand/speak English

Responsibilities

  • Drive to customer locations to troubleshoot and repair coffee equipment on site
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled service activities including emergency service calls, preventative maintenance, surveys, and installations
  • Identify damage, mechanical defects, electrical failures, and water leaks
  • Troubleshoot and repair damage or defects
  • Maintain a log of all found issues
  • Maintain part inventory levels in company-provided service vehicle
  • Serve as the face of the company by providing a positive, professional demeanor and image
  • May perform other duties as assigned
  • Adhere to any and all safety protocols including vehicle monitoring programs
  • Observe and abide by all company policies
