Requirements

  • Reside in the United States
  • Applicants with previous agricultural or production experience preferred
  • Willing to shower in and out, change clothing and footwear for biosecure environment
  • No jewelry except medical ID; body piercings covered by clothing
  • Willing to sign agreement to avoid avian species (chickens, ducks, birds, etc.)
  • Willing to sign and abide by Company Biosecurity and Animal Welfare Guidelines
  • Use safe lifting techniques; able to push/pull egg buggies weighing 500-1500 lbs
  • Able to lift eggs (physical demands implied)

Responsibilities

  • Perform egg inventory and maintain inventory on floor
  • Place hatching eggs in properly labeled containers, boxes, and buggies
  • Complete all necessary daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
  • Wash and sanitize dirty side box room with pressure washer
  • Pull empty farm buggies to Packing Room, wash and sanitize pull room with pressure washer
  • Operate high pressure and regular water hose
  • Maintain foot pans and hand sanitizer
  • Coordinate and pack export eggs into cases and racks using Egg Packer
  • Operate floor machine to clean and sanitize Egg Room
  • Maintain clean and organized work area
  • Operate buggy washer, macerator
  • Wash buggies and boxes, make egg boxes
  • Handle daily shipping and receiving of eggs
  • Perform data entry and reporting
  • Other duties as assigned
